Tank Cleaning
Swire Oilfield Services is the only offshore tank leasing company to offer tank cleaning services. Swire Oilfield Services offers professional tank cleaning systems to clean tanks and equipment. Our cleaning systems incorporate a Waste Capture Management and recycle system to minimise the amount of waste water used to clean the tanks.
Each tank is cleaned and degassed as required by the Australian Dangerous Goods Code and Australian Standards so as to verify it is deemed safe and fit for refilling and transport.
THE PRICE OF THE SERVICE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING;
- Tank cleaning utilising Swire Oilfield Services’s Cleaning System;
- Storage and Handling of Residues;
- Disposal of up to 15 litres residues of original product returned in tank if some is remaining;
- Disposal and management of waste water used during cleaning;
- Tank Degassing and issue of Degas Certificate,
- Tank Cleanliness Report issued for re-use,
- Utilisation of Wash Down Bund;
- Wash down and cleaning of externals from contamination of residues,
- Qualified Tank Entry if required (includes JSA);
- Dismantling of Bottom Outlet and Foot vale, Removal of PVRV if so required to remove residues of product.
- Removal of Dangerous Goods Placard / Stickers.
Does not include the provision of the Chemical Placard. This should be supplied by the supplier of the chemical as per the Australian Dangerous Goods Code and regulations.
The above price does not include the cost of disposal of waste if the tank is returned with more than 15 Litres of product within reason.
